About

Meet Danielle

There is always a moment when you are asked what you do, and you realise the answer is not as simple as a job title. On paper, I work in marketing. In reality, I have spent years building something that sits somewhere between strategy, storytelling, and understanding how people truly connect with content.

how it started

If I am being completely honest, this was never the plan. When I left university, I did not have a clear career path mapped out. I was not chasing a dream role or following a lifelong ambition. I simply wanted a job, something stable, something that would allow me to start building a life and, at the time, fund a girls’ holiday to Ibiza.

I applied for an office role, landed a position in administration, and quietly got on with it. But somewhere along the way, someone saw something in me that I had not yet recognised in myself. I was given the opportunity to develop, to learn, and eventually, to step into the world of marketing.

And from there, everything shifted.

What I Do Now

Fast forward to today, and I work full-time in marketing, specialising in digital performance and content strategy. My role sits at the intersection of creativity and data, understanding not just what looks good, but what actually works.

I analyse how people interact with content, how they move through websites, what captures their attention, and what causes them to leave. It is about more than numbers. It is about behaviour, intention, and creating something that resonates.

Over the years, I have developed a deep understanding of the blogging space, not just as a marketer, but as someone who has lived it.

My Approach to Marketing

I have always believed that the best marketing does not feel like marketing.

It feels natural, engaging, and, most importantly, honest. In a world where content is constant and attention is limited, people are drawn to authenticity far more than perfection. That is something I carry through everything I do.

For me, it is about balance. Strategy without creativity feels flat. Creativity without strategy lacks direction. When the two come together, that is where the magic happens.

Why This Site Exists

This site has grown alongside me. What started as a space to share my thoughts has evolved into something much bigger. It is where I experiment, refine my voice, and apply everything I have learnt in real time. Every post, every layout, every piece of content is part of that process.

It is also where I remind myself why I started in the first place. Not for metrics or performance, but for the simple act of creating and connecting.

The Personal Side

Beyond the job title and the strategy, I am someone who values balance, even if I am still learning what that looks like.

I am a homebody at heart, someone who finds comfort in quiet spaces, cosy routines, and the small details that make life feel intentional. But I am also someone who has learnt the importance of stepping outside of that comfort zone, both personally and professionally.

honest · easy to understand · Authentic

My dedication to marketing has grown from something I fell into into a career I have continuously invested in, refined, and genuinely care about.

Marketing has become a defining part of my career, even though it was never part of the original plan. Over time, I have grown into it, building both confidence and expertise through hands-on experience.

It is now something I genuinely care about, not just for the results it delivers, but for the way it connects people, ideas, and creativity. Making marketing accessible can change brands and businesses.
